Yara International School has once again reaffirmed its commitment to excellence with a remarkable performance in the CBSE Grade X and XII Board Examinations for the academic year 2024–25. Reinforcing its legacy of academic distinction, the school secured a flawless 100% pass rate in Grade X and an outstanding 99% in Grade XII.
The Grade X results are commendable, with 187 students appearing for the board exams, 86% secured First Class and above, and 53% earned Distinction. The high achievers include Miss Afifah Muttaqi (97.60%), Miss Zaida M Arif (96.20%), Miss Niza T Koorad (95.80%), and Miss Marwa Zakir (95.80%).
Several students also earned perfect scores (Centum) in various subjects. In Grade X, Miss Isha Fathima and Miss Fathima Zahir secured full marks in Arabic, while Miss Nahal Rayyan scored a Centum in Malayalam.
In Grade XII, out of 78 students who appeared for the examination, an impressive 94% secured First Class and above, while 49% achieved Distinction. The Science stream topper is Miss Fathima Noureen Cheloor, who scored a remarkable 95%, and topping the Commerce stream is Miss Hana Sulfikar Chembala with 88.4%.
In Grade XII, Centum scorers are Miss Ghazala Afreen, Miss Neha Maryam, Miss Fiza Fathima, and Miss Fathimathul Akhsa in Fine Arts, Miss Maleeha Mujeeb in Computer Science, and Miss Fathima Noureen Cheloor in Chemistry.
Although the Kingdom Topper position eluded us this year, our school has achieved a unique milestone by acquiring an unprecedented number of 100% scores which is a record in itself. The achievement of 9 Centum scores stands as a brilliant manifestation of the school’s vision and commitment to academic distinction
The commendable performance of the 17 Students who procured 99/100 marks has catapulted YIS to the zenith of excellence. The staggering number of students with outstanding results is a testament to their high caliber and the school’s ability to nuture and inspire individuals with great potential.
The phenomenal performance of our students is the result of focused planning, personalized learning strategies, and relentless academic support. Our dedicated teaching staff, under the guidance of the Headmistress and Middle Leaders, played a pivotal role in nurturing students’ growth through continuous mentoring and monitoring.
The school’s leadership, including the Principal and the Management, took proactive steps such as organizing counselling sessions and motivational programs involving parents, students, and faculty — all of which significantly contributed to this landmark achievement.
